The Jaycees, also known as the Junior Chamber, is an organization of young men and women dedicated to improving themselves and their communities through leadership and service. Unlike other groups, the Jaycees emphasize individual development, offering members hands-on opportunities to build skills like organization, delegation, and public speaking by leading local projects. Members also benefit from specialized training programs, often at no cost, designed to strengthen leadership and management abilities. The organization is structured from local chapters up to state, national, and international levels, connecting members with opportunities for growth, networking, and even international travel. In Missouri, the Jaycees are organized into six regions, each divided into districts, ensuring support and leadership at every level.
